Nabil Amini“Becoming an artist was the best way to express myself emotionally.”
Art is a way for Nabil to express himself emotionally, as well as constructively help others, which is communicated through his focus on nature and humans to represent and showcase the positivity of art, as well as show the lives of different people.
Nabil likes to use multiple materials to create his work, for example; making a sculpture out of copper wire. Because a lot of Nabil’s art is nature-orientated, he loves living in Bristol due to the green spaces in the city; green is an easy and happy colour to paint. The positivity of art has enabled Nabil to improve on his painting and learn more, especially through BRAC. BRAC has helped Nabil grow as a person and has enabled him to meet new people and learn new experiences, which has in turn helped with his confidence. Nabil has been a part of BRAC for three years, and has found it a positive experience due to lots of people working together and collaborating through harsh times which is very important to him, particularly collaboration and teamwork. Being involved in BRAC meant there was a digital space to talk during lockdown, which helped make it a more positive experience. |
