Bristol Refugee Artists Collective is a group of artists from different countries, cultures and languages who share a passion for creativity and a love of the universal language of art!
Art is a reflection of thoughts, experiences, and memories, and a fundamental healthy outlet for personal expression and the process of learning. BRAC believes in equal opportunity for everyone to experience creativity in all mediums, regardless of skill-level. We are all gaining deeper understanding of other cultures and heritages outside of our own, through exchanging and learning new skills, and improving capabilities together.
BRAC demonstrates the power of collectivism to advocate further unity in society despite differences in age, gender, physical ability, ethnic, economic, or social backgrounds. Since we are open to new members, we continue to inspire confidence in others to regularly engage with communities outside of our own, and to breakdown frigid barriers between cultures and languages.
